2008 Festival Wrap-Up

Thank you for the important support you provided for the recent Azalea Festival here in Valdosta, Georgia. Your support certainly helped us put on the best event in our history as we hosted over 34,000 people over the weekend of March 15 and 16. Those attending the Festival enjoyed lost of fun activities, three stages of entertainment, great food and over 130 vendors providing arts and craft items of every imaginaable description. Some of the vendors came from as far away as Minnesota and Indiana - a first for our Festival.

As the Valdosta-Lowndes Azalea Festival continues to grow we deeply appreciate your support of this important community event. At the Festival we observed various generations and ethnicities greeting each other and enjoying themselves and we realized that the Azalea Festival does a great deal to promote that intangable that we call "community spirit". We sincerely believe that goes a long way in making Valdosta, Georgia a wonderful place to call home.
